Slowly climbing the ladder of success is Prasanna. The young actor, who started his journey with Five Star (produced by Mani Ratnam), has grown into a hero, who can do varied type of roles.

His films includes Azhagiya Theeyae, Kanda Naal Muthal, Kasthoori Maan among others have fetched him appreciation.

Prasanna is currently playing the lead role in Cheena Thana 001, a remake of Malayalam hit CID Moosa and Manjal Veyyil. His Kannum Kannum is almost complete and awaits its release.

Buzz is that Prasanna has been roped into play the lead role in a movie to be penned and scripted by Crazy Mohan and directed by Kanthan. It would be produced by GV Films.

Prasanna says, “I am careful in choosing my films. I am a director's actor and hopefully render my best in all my films”.
